No matter how imposible it may seem..
My boyfriend and I have been dreaming about having our own car. We moved out from our house when I was 18 and our place was a studio type apartment with just a foam bed and a fan. We were so poor that we could only eat crackers and sardines for every meal. We were working in a call center at that time, and with our low salaries we did not have enough for the two of us to buy a car, even if we combined our salary. We wanted to have a car first, then buy a house before we get married but whichever way we computed our salary, the total amount wasnt enough, even if we ate 1 meal a day. At this time we hadnt yet heard about The Secret.
We worked everyday as if we were robots, believing that someday this dream of having a car will come true and that our goals in life will come true. And sure enough the universe was helping us. We were transferred to a lot of different companies and every time we were transferred we got a higher salary, enough for us to move into a bigger apartment. We were able to save money to buy a car but the high down payment is still not enough.
My boyfriends sister told us about The Secret and that day we bought the DVD and watched it. We were amazed coz we believed in it even before we watched it, we just didnt know the process.
So we followed the process and even made a vision board. One by one, our dreams came true. One of those things was a trip to Boracay. The funny thing about that trip was we just won that trip from a raffle, and every time we wanted something we got it easily. Its like we were walking with a genie beside us making our wishes come true. When we wanted to have a laptop we got it. When we wanted to have a 40″ flat screen TV we got it. Then we said to ourselves this time we will get our own car and we imagined every day that the car was parked outside.
One day we decided to look around and choose cars that are for sale believing as if we have the money to buy a car.
After a month, we checked our savings and were amazed to see that our money was enough to buy a car. Then we bought it. We acted as if we had a lot of money and that money was not a problem and we also didn’t even have debts even though we did those things. We just believed that we are celebrating that everything we spend is just extra money.
Now we are looking for a house and the way it looks we can afford it. =)
