First off I want to start off by saying that I am SO happy that the day has finally come where I get to share my story with everyone, and hopefully add a little inspiration to those who read it, just like others did for me!

I first came across The Secret in 2007 after a horrible break up with my first love. Although I truly believed in what it taught, for some reason I was just never able to really apply it to my life, more specifically my love life. I guess deep down inside it was because I wanted someone to fill my life, and I needed to realize that I didn’t actually need someone to do that for me.

Anyways, I am writing here today to tell you that that has all changed! After things ended between me and this guy I was seeing this summer, due to my own insecurities, I knew that I wanted to be with him again as I realized after we were no longer together that I was falling in love with him. So I picked up my copy of The Secret and read it again, and again and again. Slowly but surely I started applying its teachings to my life, and sure enough changes began to appear.

Since applying the concepts of positive thinking, visualization, affirmations, and above all believing that I deserve everything that I ever want, I have not only achieved a new job which I absolutely love, a new place in a new city which is actually the same city as the man that I love, but as of two days ago a new found relationship with the man of my dreams.

What is important for people to take from my story is this. You can not give up on whatever it is that you want. If you want it then go for it, believe you can have it, be thankful for having it, and you will have it I promise. In addition, it is extremely important to practice, practice, practice. Do whatever helps you to believe in the teachings of The Secret, until one day and it will come I promise, you just automatically believe. For me personally this came from reading not only many books on The Law of Attraction but in addition to reading the stories posted here on this website.

So to finish off my story, I will tell you this. Although me and the guy I am in love with are not actually officially back together at this moment, I now have complete and utter faith that it is only a matter of time. Although it has taken a little over two months for us to get here it was through my constant applications of positive thinking, believing, and living as if I have received, that the Universe began working to give me exactly what I want. Me and my boyfriend (yes I am now calling him this since this is were I want to be and therefore am living as if I have received) went from not talking at all, to talking once in a while, to talking twice a week to now hanging out with one another.

So although you may be getting frustrated because things don’t appear to be changing I am here to tell you DO NOT GIVE UP! Keep believing because it will come exactly at the most perfect time!!
