After I watched The Secret, I was eager to apply it to my own life. I was in 11th grade at the time and I happened to like this boy. Up until I learned of The Secret, I believed that the idea of he and I in a relationship was far flung and impossible. I began applying The Secret to this situation.

I wrote about how I was going to get to know this guy and that we would eventually be in a relationship. I found myself getting excited about it and really believing. Just a day or so later, a friend of mine (who was also friends with this boy) texted me saying that the boy mentioned me and thought I seemed like a cool person. He said he wanted to get to know me. I found this amazing, as I hadn’t told anyone at all I was interested in him. In the next week, I used The Secret even more on this situation. I visualized this boy and I talking and hanging out. I imagined us together, in a relationship. I felt a little weird picturing all this stuff, as I barely even knew this guy. That same week, that same friend of mine asked me if I wanted to hang out with her and the guy I liked and another friend of his at the movies. I was amazed at how much The Secret had worked. Of course, I said yes.

I was a bit worried that the situation would be awkward. However, I stayed positive and used The Secret, visualizing how I wanted the event to go. Finally, this big night came. I had a great time and really got to talk to this guy. We even kissed. Throughout the next week I found myself getting to know him even more, texting and talking to him all the time. That same week he asked me to be his girlfriend.

To this day, about 2 years later, I remember this experience. It always motivates me and reminds me that through The Secret, I can achieve anything.

Since then, I have been using and applying The Secret in all areas of my life and am very happy!
