For several years our life has been difficult. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2003 and from then on life seemed to go down hill financially.

Recently I have suffered the blackest depression I have ever experienced. It was with me constantly. Life only had one colour, black.

A girlfriend came to visit me and brought me your book, The Secret. Just another one of those self help books I never understand or benefit from, just the opposite in fact, because I beat myself up for not understanding their message. I could not have been more wrong. I have to admit that the book stayed where it was for 4 days before I picked it up. Thank goodness I did. It has changed my life, my attitude to life. This book is so easy to read. Everything is clear. I now understand the Law of Attraction, I am my own transmitter.

When I read about the guy testing his own powers by his imagination of the feather that he consequently found outside a New York apartment bock, I decided to test myself. I have to tell you here that I already felt enlightened and energised just from reading and understanding.

I must share my experiences of what happened within the next 48 hours!!! It is remarkable.

The next morning I had to go to a village that is notorious for its lack of parking. As I drove there I said aloud, “There will be a parking space, thank you.” Lo and behold there was, and not just at the first place I had to go to but at all four places.

On the following day I went to my work. I sell vintage and antique ceramics at several local markets. I stood there selling the odd piece here and there, nothing spectacular. We need the money so badly, we have never been so poorly off. I looked up at the sky and said, “Please send me a good client who will buy a good item.” Within 5 minutes a couple appeared at my stand, chatted with me about my vintage English China, and subsequently doubled my takings!!!! My day was complete, we had made the money we needed. I went on to sell more after that.

Our neighbours have a dog that barks constantly through the night. It disturbs our sleep and my husband suffers from lack of sleep far more than I do. Nothing we have done has stopped this dog from barking. at 3 a.m. this morning it started. It woke me up. I said, “Please stop that dog from barking.” It stopped. 10 minutes later it started again, I said more loudly this time, “I SAID PLEASE STOP THAT DOG FROM BARKING!!!” It stopped again, it is now 7am, and it has not barked again!!! This more than anything has more than energised me – it has empowered me.

I believe in the Law of Attraction, I am that person, I will look forward, I will ask for what I need, I will succeed.

Thank you for the book that has changed my life. I now look forward to seeing the film.
