I had been searching for an apartment in my FAVORITE city, down town Long Beach CA. I was starting to get discouraged after seeing that I probably couldn’t afford any rent in the area that I really wanted to live in. The ones that I could afford were NOT liveable. And worse, the rent was subject to change without notice. Everywhere I went the landlords wanted to charge me application fee’s, credit check fee’s, co-signer fees. Fees! I was getting so discouraged. But I held my head high, and told myself I WILL get a apartment in down town Long beach in a area I could afford. The next week I saw a posting online for a studio apartment in downtown long beach in my price range. I was so excited that I called the landlord and arranged for me and my father to meet with him so I could see the apartment.

When I saw the apartment I KNEW it was meant for me. It came with a brand new stove, refrigerator, and NEW carpet, paint and NEW WINDOWS. With all the little stores and perfect hangout areas that I could walk to. There is a taco stand, salon, ice cream parlor, pizza parlor, burger joint, Chinese food, Thai food, dollar store, grocery store, bars, shops, and MORE just within a FEW FEET of my apartment. The landlord didn’t charge me a cent for the application fee, the co-signer fee, or for the credit check!!

I was so grateful! It is a spacious studio with a HUGE walk in closet. In fact the closet is SO BIG that I converted it into a mini bedroom with my dresser against one end of the closet and my bed pushed across to the other end. And I still have room to walk around in there! I put up a rod with BEAUTIFUL white curtains to seperate the living room from the bedroom.

I had no idea how I was going to get furniture. All I had was my bed and some bowls, utensils, cups and some food. No TV, no couch, no table. Nothin. Just a big empty room. I was starting to get a little discouraged about the furniture situation. Then my brother gave me his old flat screen with the TV stand because he couldn’t take it with him since he and his girlfriend were moving and there was no room . I was so happy, but it didn’t stop there. My friends gave me a brand new futon that they were going to sell at a yard sale, and a new coffee table and area rug. They gave me some nice throw pillows and my apartment is pretty much completely furnished.

Can you believe I got all this furniture for FREE?!! Gods favor is in my life and I give him all the glory. I kept my faith, kept positive, and applied the secret. I cant wait to see what the future holds because I know only good is ahead of me:) and for YOU TOO!! You have all of Gods glorious favor in your life also!
