I started composing this story in my head before I actually manifested it. Vaccine supply in my country was very limited and I didn’t belong to the priority list. Living in a 3rd world country, we didn’t have the luxury to choose which vaccine to get. Or so I thought until I remembered The Secret.

My best friend in the US got a Pfizer vaccine and I really wanted the same brand. The first shipment of Pfizer vaccines arrived but only a few thousand were allocated to my city to be rolled out in 2 days. The demand for Pfizer was so high that on the first day, a lot of people queued and videos went viral because social distancing was not observed. My father just turned 60 and I was planning to go with him on the 2nd day but decided not to take our chances anymore. I woke up after lunch that day and I read my aunt’s messages asking if we went ahead and when I informed her we didn’t, she told me about my cousins who got the shots arriving before 5 pm the day prior. So I closed my eyes and told myself, “This is a good time to use The Secret,” and I asked the Universe to help us get the Pfizer shot. I even imagined getting the jab in my shoulder and feeling happy and grateful for it.

We arrived at the venue before 4 pm and lined up with a lot of hopefuls. I was informed that only my dad could be able to get the shot because I was not in the priority group. That alone would be a blessing but I was still hopeful I could get one also. By 5 pm, they told us all to go home. Even my dad could not get it. I felt I gave up at that time but something in me refused to be defeated so I tried to stay present and observe my environment.

That was when I overheard a woman telling her small group that they were going to go 3 floors down, to the other vaccination area. So I said to my dad, “Let’s follow them.” And so we did. There was no queue in that area because they were almost done with the few shots they had left. The woman and her small group were arguing at the front desk and I decided to go up there to inquire. I informed them my dad was a senior citizen. He was given a form and then I asked if I could get one too, but I was declined again. I just said okay and thank you, smiling without any resistance in my head. So I just accompanied my dad to the next section where we would submit the form and have his interview with the doctor. Having a gut feeling, and feeling undefeated, I asked again if I could get a form. And yes! The guy gave me one and I got vaccinated in less than 10 minutes! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

After I got my shot, they announced that only 2 shots were left and they were done for the day. Talk about a miracle. I was overjoyed and overflowing with gratitude because I knew the Universe had conspired every detail to deliver my wish. I was in awe.

So please believe in God’s/the Universe’s power to give what you truly desire. Don’t worry about the ‘how’. Even if you encounter some hurdles, breathe and shake off any resistance. The Universe has got your back! Rhonda, thank you again, and thank you to your team. You are changing lives every day.
