A couple of years ago I decided to do a vision board after reading The Secret and The Magic and on there I put a picture of me standing outside my house. My marriage of 20 years had broken up and I had to downsize and buy a property with a mortgage which I had no means of reducing as the payments I made only covered the interest.

When I put up the picture and words “I love being Mortgage free”, I decided to imagine the peace of mind and security I would feel when it was paid off. I would look at the board often and try and imagine the joy I would feel.

Something in my mindset changed and every month I would save to begin paying off the mortgage. Up until then I could never find the money to do this but I suddenly felt this determination that I would do it.

Well unbelievably, I have just paid my mortgage off and I finally own my house. I still can’t believe it. It’s as if the universe did everything to support me to do this once I affirmed and decided that this is what I wanted to do.

I am so grateful and it has made me a true believer. In fact, I am off to update my vision board now! Thank you to Rhonda and everyone for your wonderful books that have helped me so much.
