Living In The End.

This is my first time writing on this website, so I am super excited and I hope to at least inspire one person. That would be amazing.
My car has been giving me troubles for around two months, the heating system started failing. The months of December in the U.K are pretty difficult to get around without heating, de-misting and staying warm. After a few attempts at getting the car fixed and running up bills of £200 plus in labour charges, I was definitely heartbroken when the resistor needed changing almost a week after getting the car fixed. The thought of having to pay for the resistor and the labour charge is ridiculous and the worker at the garage was adamant that he can’t fix the car till Wednesday. It was Monday when I went to get the car fixed. This was pretty useless when I needed the car to travel back to where I work 80 miles away and do my weekly shop. I use my car a lot as I am do medical and do 24 hour on-calls.
The stress was mounting but in this unusual moment, I took a few minutes out and truly accepted the possible outcome and let go.
The next 15 minutes was crazy. The owner of the garage called me and was obviously disgruntled at the way his employee handled things. The owner was ready to fit the parts and give me the car back within two hours!!
I was gobsmacked. I went to the garage and to my pure astonishment, the owner of the garage told me he won’t be charging for the labour charge, just the part!!!
My mouth was left open.
I think what I’ve learned here is that letting go and accepting what may be is so important to releasing resistance! What might be, might be, and we can change it as we have the power, but once we stress over the ‘how’, that’s when we change the ‘might be’ to ‘will be’.
I hope this helps someone!
