A Gift from The Secret
Submitted by: Ted Tillotson
San Diego, CAI've been a creative person all of my life. Paintings, writing, film and video production have filled most of my adult years. I always said, "If you can see it in your mind, you can create it." Little did I know I was tapping into "The Secret" every day. I spent thirty five years as a radio news reporter and gained a wealth of knowledge from the universe without really knowing where it came from. Now, I do.
To Rhonda Byrne:
Thank you for “The Secret,” thank you for the book, thank you for the DVD, thank you for being the person you are. Thank you for all the work you and your team put into bringing “The Secret” into my life. For me to express gratitude I need a target subject, and you are it.
I’m a published writer/instructor, and “The Secret” has taken my work to a new level. For far too long I’ve failed to get an agent or publish any one of my three completed books. The reasons are negative input and my own destructive thinking. “The Secret” has changed all that.
I’m two-thirds through the first reading of your great book and, already, the course of my life has started to change. I’ve placed my order from the universal catalog and my product is on the way.
I created a cover for my first of two children’s books, “The Magic Meadow”, and placed it on my “Vision Board.” The book is now a reality. I downloaded your blank check, printed it and put in the amount of $250,000.00. It’s on the board above the cover of my book. Since “The Magic Meadow” will become a three-book series, the mid six-figure check is within reason.
I’ve worked with hopeful, novice, writers for years, and helped many of them get published for the first time. I believe that is a good thing I have failed to tap into, because I didn’t ask for any return. Several of my former students couldn’t afford the fee for my twelve-week course. I gave them access to the online workshop anyway. I did so because I wanted to help them. My reward was their appreciation and productive participation. I never felt that I was giving away my instruction.
“The Secret” has always been my key to success, and I didn’t know it. Now, I do. I start each day giving thanks to YOU for what YOU’VE given me and for what I can give to so many others.
I have an agent and she/he will be contacting me soon to arrange a contract for representation. I see “Little Brown” as my first conventional publisher.
Again, thank you, Ms. Byrne:
At seventy, I’m giving the rest of my life to the universe.
Sincerely,
Ted Tillotson
