My ex mother in law bought me The Secret DVD and the book years ago.

I watched it and it inspired me to make a vision board. I made it and it never left my mind, however over the years, I did not practice The Secret or really give much energy to it.

Recently, about midyear, last year, I began really getting into it again. I started watching it every evening and incorporating the practices of positive thinking and FEELING into my day to day life.

Well I decided to really use it in a situation with a man that I have been involved with since August. Upon our reconnecting, things quickly turned from friendship, to intimacy and we talked, and he informed me that he was looking for nothing serious.

I agreed, because at the time, neither was I. After we began to grow our connection, I wanted more from him, but never mentioned it to him. I would just envision us doing things that couples do, being affectionate with one another, kissing, hugging, going places, etc.

I began to receive text messages and phone calls from him frequently saying things like: “Waking up thinking about you, you are on my mind”, etc.

By December he was telling me that he wants to get serious with me. I’ve still got a ways to go, because the situation has yet to be solidified, but I’m liking the direction that this is going and I will continue to think and feel positive, even when it’s hard to do, because The Secret is working!
