So I’ve been following The Secret and The Power for the last few weeks. I’ve had some good luck, and some bad. Of course none of this was actual luck, but I caused some negativity, especially last Friday.

So, I bought what I thought were good tires online, only to find out they were crap, big waste of $100. I tried to look at the positive side of things, but I know I let negative feelings about getting ripped off get to me. So anyways, I wanted to make sure giving was on my mind instead of having money taken. My friend lost his phone the week before on his birthday so I decided to go to his work and give him an old phone of mine. It took a while to find him and I still had a negative attitude at this point. Gave it to him, felt good inside, but quickly remembered how bad I was feeling earlier. I remember thinking, if one more thing goes wrong today I’m gonna snap!

So I go to get in my girlfriend’s car, we had only been parked for about 10 minutes. And nothing… the car was completely dead. It’s a newer car and this wasn’t very common. We walked around trying to call someone in the freezing cold. Things were getting worse and worse. Finally my dad called, even though he didn’t have jumper cables, he showed up within a minute or two of calling, popped the hood, and turned one of the connectors to the battery. Voila! Started first try.

I knew that everything that happened I had somehow attracted. When my dad came and helped fix this issue, I realized how grateful I am to have a dad I can always depend on, a girlfriend who didn’t lose her cool when her car was dead, a friend who appreciates what I did for him. I also tried calling the person that ripped me off, his phone was deactivated.

Also the next day, I had three people offer me cheap tires, and my girlfriend’s parents decided to get me a pair for free!

So moral of the story, the law of attraction can work for or against what you want… I’ve finally found the feeling I had when I first read the books again. I noticed I lost that feeling before all this had happened. I am happy all this happened because it truly convinced my mind that this stuff works (whether for or against you). I now pay close to attention to what I’m attracting.
