I’m a Chinese girl working for Royal Caribbean International Cruises. A year ago a friend of mine recommended The Secret book to me! She briefly told me it was about positive thinking and the law of attraction. She also shared with me her amazing story about how she got her dream car and I immediately became fascinated with it. She recommended that I watch the documentary of The Secret first and then read the book. After reading the book, I’m a firm believer in the law of attraction. I also finished all the rest of the books of The Secret series including The Magic and The Power and I love them so much!

Since learning about the LOA I had been practicing gratitude and manifestations, and I never expected that only a year later my dream would come true! We bought our dream apartment last December.

We had been very poor and had been renting the house we lived in. My dad tried many businesses but he’s just not lucky, always no money left to save, and even sometimes in debt. But I’m really grateful they tried their best to pay the tuition for my Bachelor’s and Master’s studies. It had been one of my dreams to help them buy an apartment

Things really went well with my dad’s job after my college graduation and he has gotten paid well since then. We had been saving money to buy an apartment, but we never thought we would actually buy it last December. Even now it sounds really crazy. It was my mom’s birthday and I was taking her to buy some groceries for her birthday dinner. On our way to the store, we were just randomly talking. Mom mentioned that at the end of the year was the time when you can buy property at the cheapest price. I said I really wanted to help her and dad buy their own apartment and l also really want to buy myself an apartment.

Haha, it was just random talk but to our surprise, on that day by the grocery market, there appeared a property sales advertisement station. We never noticed it before and they told us it was actually their first day to have this station there. We looked at the ad and the price was really cheap and the house was just a 15 minute walk from here. So we just decided, why not go to take a look? To our surprise, the apartment was really nice. It was a two-floor layout apartment. That whole building has 6 floors, and this one was on the fifth and sixth floors. It was the top floor apartment of the building with a large open balcony on the very top of the building. We really love it and the price was super cheap. We ask them why so cheap? They told us it was because this building was initially built for the employees of a petroleum company and not for sale to the public but due to some policy changes, this company had to hand over the property to the government, and so the price was really cheap now. It was 180 square meters and with an extra garage and it cost $77, 000 in US dollars. I helped my parents pay $30,000 dollars with my savings from my 5 ship contracts.

Almost everything about the house is perfect. It has a fantastic view with a river right in the front and a small mountain by the side, and also very near to the grocery market. By the way, since its a two-floor layout, we decided to make it two separate, independent apartments when renovating, so it means I also have my own apartment!. The fifth floor is 110 square meters and the sixth floor is 70 square meters. My parents will take the fifth floor and I will take the sixth floor which is enough space for me. You know, as a woman, to have your own apartment can give you so much sense of security and I can live on my own perfectly, even if I don’t get married, haha!

I just felt everything just went perfect! We never even made any plans to buy anything and I feel like the perfect apartment just walked its own way to find us. So it’s true that what is meant for you will never pass you by and dreams do come true! The law of attraction is real and you will attract what you think!

I am so grateful to have had the chance to get to know and read The Secret book series. I really want to share my story with you and let more people know about this amazing book and also to let them know that it’s true, you can manifest what you desire and live your dream life!
