Vision is Victory
The story begins with my boyfriend and I wanting a motorcycle. He didn’t just want any motorcycle though – he had sat on a Victory motorcycle about 2 years ago and fell in love. You see he is 6’4″ so trying to find a bike that fit his height was difficult.
Well this past winter we started looking because we got a new Victory Dealership in town. Then we went on their website and found the Victory Kingpin and saved it on our desk top on the computer. We looked at it everyday for months.
We are new business owners and both recently separated so finances are not great. We borrowed as much as we could for the purchase of our restaurant, which has had an amazingly successful first year.
At the end of April we went on a holiday to the Kootnays. While in Nelson we bought The Secret on CD so we could listen to it while we were driving on our trip. We were also constantly thinking what a great trip this would be on a bike. So when we got back we went to the Dealership and thought what the heck lets fill out an application for financing if it is meant to be it will happen. Well two weeks ago we got turned down by two financial institutions on the Friday. I never was disappointed because I knew it would happen. It was all either of us could think about all weekend. I visualized being on it and riding and so did Bruce. Well Monday morning before 9am we get a call and the Financial institute reviewed our finances and approved it not only that they said we didn’t have to pay for a year. Now with all the exciting things in the business we know our finances will change drastically in the next year. But we get the bike now and will have it paid off by the time the loan starts. I know that all of this happened because we had had a vision of us on our Victory for months.
