If you have lost a pet, and especially a cat, please read this. I hope it will help you to keep hoping.

I live in Barcelona (Spain), in the city centre, and I have a Siamese cat, Tyrion. He is more than a cat. He is a part of me. He is always with me, he is smart, intelligent and sweet with a very strong personality. I adopted him when he was a year old and he has been with me for 6 years.

I live in a house with a terrace, and from my terrace Tyrion goes out and explores “his territory”. The way Barcelona is built, it is a series of “square blocks” with 4 streets and several buildings on each street. The interior part of each one of these blocks is composed of the terraces or patios of the flats on the ground floors of the buildings and in the middle there are other structures. On my block, the middle is made of roofs of a large mechanical workshop and of parking sites.

Tyrion always goes around and always comes back. Unless he falls from the roof of one of the houses that gives way to our street as he did once, it is impossible for him to leave the area. One day, he left on a Sunday morning, and did not come back.
The same day I went to check the patios where I knew he had been trapped before. Sometimes he jumps down but cannot jump back up. He was not there.

During the following days, we went to look for him on the roofs of the interior part of the block. I went to ring all the people who live on the block and have a patio or terrace. I went to check the mechanical workshop and the other garages, looking under all the cars and calling him, but he was nowhere to be found. I put flyers everywhere, including in shops. I posted on Facebook and on portals of lost pets. I informed all the vets of the city as he has a chip. I reported him missing with the association of vets. I even got to the point of contacting some animal communicators who could get in touch with him. Some said he had been picked up by someone, some said that he was trapped in a construction site next door some said he was just around having fun. Nothing actually helped. It seemed that he had vanished. No one had seen him. Every day I was getting more and more worried. I spent nights walking around the streets, calling him.

I read The Secret several years ago and so I studied the law of attraction. Despite my desperation, I decided that I was getting my cat back. Even after 10 days, I knew he was alive.

Every day I was sending him Reiki energy. He would often freeze and stay silent and not move when he was scared so I was asking him to manifest himself, to show himself to someone, to meow so someone could hear him. At night when I was in my bed, I was visualising Tyrion sleeping on my legs or on my pillow, as he usually does. I was seeing myself holding him in my arms and I was feeling grateful for getting him back.

After two weeks, I convinced my husband to go once again on the roofs to look for him. We knew we had already looked everywhere, more than once, but I wanted to try again. We went again around all the patios, calling him, and right when we were about to leave, we called him one more time even if we were above a patio where we knew he was not. That was when we heard something.

We moved on top of a small window that gave in to a parking area and we heard him meow!

We had already been in that parking area one week before, looking everywhere but he was probably hiding in the engine of a car and did not reply to us. I ran outside the parking and at that moment Tyrion was desperately meowing behind the door. I found someone with the keys, and in a few minutes our cat was back in our arms, as I had visualised! He was very skinny and scared and scruffy, but alive!

I know it is hard, especially when the situation seems desperate, but never give up and keep believing in the Universe to bring you what you desire. Thank you to Rhonda and her team for teaching this to the world. Thank you to all of you who posted stories of lost pets being found. I kept reading them while Tyrion was missing and they gave me hope. And thank you to the Universe for giving me my cat back. He is eating and drinking now and he has not stopped purring and cuddling next to me.
