My first encounter with The Secret happened when my cousin came to visit one day. She handed me a box with the words, “The Secret” marked on it. She went on to explain about the law of attraction and how it worked. Inside the box were four CDs. My curiosity was aroused, and so one day as I was running errands, I listened to the first CD. I was captivated by the stories and experiences of the teachers and of Rhonda as they went on to explain how thoughts do become things.

I decided that I wanted to experience this wonder, so I started by completely changing the way I think. I decided to look at life with a positive attitude, and to be clear about the things that I wanted. I put into practice the “rule”, ask, believe, and receive.

As with many families these days, money is an issue. It is with me! so I asked the Universe to provide extra money for me. A few days after that, I went into the video store to rent some videos. When it was time to pay, I was told that I had a credit, and that my next rentals were also free! I was pleasantly surprised because I had no idea that I had that credit. I left the store feeling good. I felt sure this gift was a result of the Secret.

My second experience happened a week after that. When I took a look at my pay check, I saw extra money that I had not expected, and it came just in time for my Mom’s birthday.

There is no doubt in my mind that the law of attraction works. I am looking forward to bigger and better things in the future, and my new mantra is ASK, BELIEVE, and RECEIVE. Thanks Rhonda for revealing the Secret.
