Tickets for a concert…

Guadalajara, MexicoStudent in high school, almost a university student. I had a bad vibe... but then I found The Secret.
“The Secret” came to my life in 2006. I was just 11 years old, and my mom bought the movie. I was really sure that it was boring, and I never tried to watch it. Four years later, I was looking at items on Ebay, and I made a mistake – a wonderful mistake. I found some interesting books, and I accidentally clicked “Buy” on “The Secret”. I tried to cancel, but one month later the book was brought to my home. My mom freaked out, and me too. I decided not to sent it back, because I started to read it and I discovered how wrong I was. I used to tried The Secret on little things that I didn’t really care about. I kept the book always close, but nothing happened… Until one day.
Five months later, Miley Cyrus was coming in concert to my city, and my favorite journalist would be there too, giving autographs at the concert. My mom said she’d buy the cheaper ticket, and I agreed. I knew I was not going to see both – Miley and the journalist.
Three days before the concert I turned up the radio, and they were giving tickets for both. I tried a Wednesday, but I failed. My mom told me I would never win. I was sad, but then I visited YouTube to see the first twenty minutes of The Secret. The next day, I turned on the radio with a new hope I can’t describe. I heard the radio, sang Miley’s songs, and smiled. The girl who was giving the tickets said that message 155 would win. I sent just 9 messages, with hope.
I was late for school. I took a shower, hearing the radio, and she announced that the winner was a girl. I took my cell phone in my hands and I imagined it was ringing… And then, it was really ringing! I answered the call.
I went to the concert, about 5 meters from Miley, and I saw my favorite Journalist (I could not take a picture or an autograph because when I was close, he was gone). And now I can say that The Secret is amazing. Of course it works, and of course you have to make an effort. It really works, and I have a good memory of that concert and it will help me in the future.
