Thinking Positively About Your Health.
Submitted by: Katherine W.
AustraliaI love hiking and have hiked Machu Picchu in Peru, the “W” trail in Patagonia, and Mt Fuji in Japan.
I am currently residing in Singapore and have been living here for the past 10 years. I love reading motivational books like The Secret to improve my mindset and to shift it to a positive state.
I have had a problem with my hands for the past year or so. They have been very stiff during the evening when sleeping. If I’m having a light sleep and move my fingers, the joints would be so stiff and somewhat painful.
I’d previously seen the doctor but they couldn’t determine why it was happening or the cause. In September of last year, I started getting alternative treatments with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The specialist would use acupuncture and cupping of my back to release any tension in the muscle that he said was causing poor circulation of the blood to my hands and my joints. So I did this up until November and part of December of last year in weekly sessions. Unfortunately, it did not improve my condition, and I had since stopped the treatments.
I was subsequently referred by a family friend to another renowned TCM and she prescribed herbal tea for me each day for 5 days. The first two visits reaped some improvements. On the third visit, I did not see any change and it became somewhat worse I felt.
Lately, I read the chapter in The Secret to Love, Health and Money about how to manifest a healthy body. I must say I shifted my mindset to think of a healthy, functional body and parts and I instilled this positive mindset.
To my amazement, just last night I felt a huge relief during my sleep. My left hand and fingers were almost normal and my right hand improved also. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
So now I will limit my thoughts about the pain and my stiff joints and focus more on what I want to achieve and that is a healthy, strong, and functional body. I give thanks and write my gratitude daily. Let the Universe know, believe, and receive.
Thank you Rhonda for writing this book.
