At 19 I left a three year relationship with a girl I thought I had loved. I spent the next year being unlucky in love and not sure what I was looking for. I remember thinking that there must be someone that lives in my town that I have never met, who could be right for me. So I started to believe I would meet someone local. I had never heard of The Secret back then.

At the same time I was spending a lot of time with family. In particular my cousin who was in the same position as me, but hardly ever left the house, so I often went to visit him at his house.

One evening I had arranged to visit him for beers, again at his home. However this day as I finished work, I called him to check if we were still meeting. To my surprise he said he was going to a local bar with his brother and I was welcome to come.

It was that night, 6 years, 2 months and 28 days ago that I met my fiance. We instantly felt for each other, each knowing we had found the one.

Now the story takes a twist, as 6 months ago we nearly broke up. After a short time apart we both knew we wanted to make it work, and after several sleepless nights of talking things out, we moved back in together.

At the same time I stumbled across The Secret and we are living it!

Every day we are grateful for the things we have and each other, believing we are right for each other. We are moving house tomorrow into a nicer home, almost all of our bills will be reduced. We can afford to save and still go on a sunny holiday later this year. We are planning to start a family at the beginning of next year! Life could not be any better.
