The Snap Tub

Mesa, AZ41 year old wife, stay at home mother of two, and business owner.
After watching The Secret, my whole family agreed to do what we call the Snap Tub. (An idea from ‘Legally Blonde 2’, where there was a snap cup that contained good things to say about the people she worked with.)
In my family, whenever one of us is having a “mood/attitude challenge”, we write on strips of paper either things we’re grateful for or an edifying statement about some other member of the family – these are the ‘snaps’. Then we fold the paper and put it in the snap tub.
During dinner, we each take turns picking ‘snaps’ out of the tub and reading them aloud to each other. After each one is read, we say, “Snaps for (whoever the snap was for)” and we all snap our fingers.
As we’ve all been practicing The Secret principles, our mood challenges are fewer, so we also just write snaps whenever we want to, but we do them every day.
This has been such a great tool for my family to immediately shift our mood or focus to a positive frequency! Thank you for The Secret, it is truly changing lives.
