I really wanted to send my thanks for your book…’The Magic’. I’m sure you have heard it so often, but the circumstances to which I came across this book were truly amazing! My little girl and I were early for an appointment, so I decided to go to the local shops to spend some time there, rather than sitting in a doctors office. We went into a large store that had a book section. I was going to walk past when my almost 6 year old daughter asked if we could stop and look at some childrens books… o.k, I thought, I guess I could look in the next isle and check out some books I’d like. There it was. Forgive me, I didn’t even know you had written another book (I have ‘The Secret’ and ‘The Power’ ). Money was tight, but I knew I could afford this book and it turns out it was on special…more of a bonus!

The book came at the right time for me because my husband only a few weeks ago had been given a diagnosis of MS. We are positive, just kind of in a state of limbo at the moment I guess. Finances have been tight as he has missed out on a lot of work, but we have had tremendous support from people around us. But I am ashamed to admit that I have been severley lacking in gratitude, hence the perfect timing of stumbling across your book.

I have been slowly working through the chapters and have spent considerable time on Gratitude. Thankyou…sincerley, thankyou… the flame that I believe to have dwindled, has been re-kindled, thanks to the words I am reading from ‘The Magic’.
I am humbled, and also re-ignited with love, gratitude, calm, and appreciation… It was like a subtle little kick that was needed to jolt myself out of the “Oh, why us?” into taking control and feeling the love and gratitude for the amazing people that our little family has around us.
