For years, I have been a person who set goals. Several years back I opened my own photography studio. Since many studios failed, I set specific goals to avoid being a failing statistic. The biggest goal I set was to own a home on an acre or two of land that I can landscape for portraits.

I was driving around looking for my “dream” home. I had been looking for months but things weren’t working out. I went to the park to think about it. I renewed my desire while sitting there. As I left the park, I witnessed a woman putting out a For Sale sign. As I drove past, I remembered driving by this house many times in my life and loving it. We put in an offer and it was accepted at $50,000 less than they were asking. What a gift!

Now, I am visualizing all the beautiful brides with checks in their hands that will lead to the park-like setting in my own back yard.
