I just started listening to the Audio Book The Secret. I am already applying the principles of the book. I only started the book several days ago, and I have had success on bringing something that I have wanted to me.

Last week I went to a flea market that I frequent a lot. I have been looking for the last couple of months for a little kitchen cabinet for my small kitchen. I had a picture in my mind of what I wanted the cabinet to look like. I was looking around for about an hour, was about ready to leave, and realized that I had not gone down one aisle in the shop. I stopped dead in my tracks – there was my cabinet that I had dreamed of. It had the same rustic characteristics and the color I wanted as well. I looked for a price and did not see one. So I went to the counter to ask the owner if she knew how much it was. The owner then informed me that one of the vendors had just bought the cabinet, and she did not want to re-sell the cabinet. Suddenly I knew that I had to act, and I told the owner that I would offer $100.00 for the cabinet, and she said she would speak to the vendor when she came in. Several other customers were also interested in the little cabinet.

So I waited patiently for the next several days till I could visit the shop again. Yesterday I went into the shop and the owner decided to sell it for a modest profit. I immediately and graciously paid the $150.00 that she was asking for.

I have my dream cabinet for my little kitchen. And I know now how the inner workings of the Secret work. So now I know that I works and plan to put the Secret to work in my daily life.
