My story starts on 19 September 2010. There was a big party in my village, I got into trouble and the police arrested me. The judge gave me 2 years of prison and 8 months effective.

I tried staying optimistic about it, because it just gets worse if you start to cogitate about it. I had my own cell and I started reading books for the first time in my life. We could go to the library once every two weeks and get new books. Psychology seemed very interesting to me because I like to know why people do the things they do. So I took all the books about psychology, but I always felt I was missing some knowledge, and I kept searching and searching.

Then they transferred me to another prison on December the first.

One day, something special happened. I’d asked for work like 8 weeks earlier, and everyone was telling me that it takes ages to get work. I even met some guy who said to me it had been 2 years since he asked for work and he still hadn’t got it.

But one evening the wardress came to me and asked if I wanted to work. I accepted immediately. She said that I had to pack my stuff and they would transfer me the morning after.

They escorted me to another section in the morning. When I came into the cell and started talking to the other guy he said that he was Belgian-Dominican too, and there are only like 5 Dominicans in the whole prison that contains approx 1200 people! That’s the first “coincidence”, but I prefer saying fate. Then after we became friends a couple of weeks later he saw that I was interested in psychology and he talked me about The Secret. I asked my mother to buy it for me and bring it to me.

I started reading the book very attentively and I made a summary that I read every day. I started visualizing that I would be free the 29th of March, it was 2 weeks earlier at the time. I wrote “Freedom” on the 29th on my calendar. I even started telling everyone I would be free on the 29th. I followed all the guidelines in The Secret, thanking the Universe when getting up and being grateful for everything I have and had received, as much as possible.

The director of the prison invited me for a talk on the Friday 25th and asked if I was interested in electronic surveillance. I filled in the form and posted it the 28th, because there’s no mail exchange on the weekend. And guess what? The evening of the 28th they came to say that I could pack my stuff and I was going home the next day!

I almost cried with joy. It’s unbelievable, as soon as I got home I ate my favourite dish (pizza bolognese) and then went on Amazon to search all the books concerning the Law of Attraction, I bought almost all of them. The best I read were Prentice Mulford – Thoughts Are Things, David Cameron Gikandi – A Happy Pocket Full of Money and Charles Haanel – The Master Key System. I also liked the audio recording of Paul Scheele – Abundance For Life, because it changes your brain patterns with “Paraliminal” audiotapes, those are audiotapes that work directly with your unconscious mind, so I recommend those to everyone.

I immediately made a vision board with a perfect family, house, car, job and of course a check. I already have a girlfriend now, a car and a big part of the money, I’ve also registered at a school because I didn’t finished my schooling.

I’m now living more happily then ever before and feel like I’m reborn and just started living. Thanks Rhonda Byrne and every one of The Secret Team for your marvelous work and sharing The Secret with everyone! And thanks to God for giving me this perfect life and all of this knowledge.
