Manila, PHI do believe, and now I shall receive!
Before I share my story, I want to thank The Secret team for giving us our daily inspirations to manifest our own dreams. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I’ve known about LOA ever since I was 12 and I am 25 right now. However, I only practiced it whenever there were things that I want to attract in my life. There were things I was able to manifest, like my job and some material things but not all of them, as what I knew about The Secret during that time was only the tip of the iceberg.
As the years went on I forgot to practice it on a daily basis and my thoughts went auto-pilot again. Then last year I began to dig deep and study The Secret wholeheartedly and with full dedication.
I didn’t grow up in a rich family. We were not poor as we had enough to live on but my parents worked hard to send us to a reputable school. They provided our daily necessities but without the luxury of fancy things and gadgets. I was somehow thankful for this because I learned how to appreciate small things.
My father is a tricycle driver, it’s common public transportation here in the Philippines. It was what kept him busy when he lost his office job and able to help my mom provide our daily living.
Fast forward to 2018 when I was into cars. I always wanted a car but was not able to afford one. It was also the time when I had learned to drive as I wanted to keep myself busy since me and my girlfriend broke up. Since we don’t have a car, I always volunteered to be their driver whenever my relatives wanted to go out-of-town or something driver. Ever since the day I learned to drive, I felt the urge to buy my own car.
I printed out a picture of the latest Ford Mustang and put it on my closet door so that every morning when I woke up it would remind me of my intention. The car costs around Php 3,700,000 or $74,000 US, here in the Philippines. I decided to print out The Secret Check and wrote in the amount for Php 100,000,000 ($2,000,000 US) and imagined myself winning the lottery. I also listened to guided meditation tracks before I went to sleep and I would feel the feelings of having it now!
Long story short, I did not get a Ford Mustang. What I got is a deal from my mother’s sister! She bought her car from the bank where she was working. She’s a bank branch manager and she acquired her 2014 Mitsubishi Montero as one of her office perks. She decided to sell it to us for only Php 250,000 ($5000 US) so she could buy a new one. The car here in the Philippines has a secondhand value of $10,000 to $15,000 depending on the car’s condition. I was so happy about it since my father had decided to sell his tricycle as he is too old to drive it and he just wanted to spend his time relaxing at home. I talked to my aunt and we took the deal after my father sold his tricycle.!
I was amazed at how the Universe arranged the events in my life. I may not have gotten the sports car that I wanted, but this is certainly something to be thankful for. I have this now and I know I’ll have something better in the future!
Don’t lose hope. The Universe is always providing what we want. All we have to do is believe and feel it before it happens. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
