I discovered The Secret in 2018 after hearing someone refer to it in a YouTube video. It instantly intrigued me and after finding the film and watching it that night, my life was changed and things were now starting to make sense. I had used the law of attraction before without realising it, to make things happen in my business. Now that I knew there was a whole theory about it to explore, it was beyond exciting.

Since then I have listened to The Secret audiobooks and explored the concept a bit more. I have practised using it and have had results. But something happened today that has cemented my faith forevermore that the Universe has my back!

I made some time to remake my vision board. I put it right next to my computer at work where I can see it every day and the new year had inspired me to refresh my goals and recreate my board. I really got absorbed in what I was doing. Writing out affirmations and printing off pictures. I put that I wanted to extend our house and I also asked that I wanted to see my recently published book in the Waterstones window. I put on inspiring songs while I worked and I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for my life and memories. I found some cute Polaroid’s of happy moments to add. This whole feeling consumed every part of me and I decided to share my board with my online followers, so I posted it on instagram. My main thought behind my post was to inspire other people to try creating vision boards and I got some messages saying people were going to give it a go, wooop!

But it was a couple of hours later when I went back to my messages that I nearly dropped my phone. An incredible human being had messaged me saying that their friend is the manager at the Nottingham Waterstones. They had asked them to put my book in the window and they had! This was followed by a photo which included my little fluorescent yellow ‘We Wear Pants’ book clearly visible in the window!

I was so insanely excited! A dream of mine had come true but mainly I was excited because I now know with unwavering faith that the law of attraction exists and anything is possible! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
