I have been picking up and putting down The Secret for months. I am still not done reading the entire book but I have been putting to practice what I have read thus far. Two events have happened that has made me really stop and say, “WOW”.

The other night as I was reading I noticed that I “dog-ear” the pages of my books to keep my place. I thought, “I really wish that I had a nice bookmark so I could stop ruining the pages.” The VERY NEXT day I got a letter from my Sister-In-Law and inside was a beautiful bookmark with a saying on it that I so needed to be reminded of that day.

I froze. I could not believe that I was holding the bookmark that just the night before I wished I had!

Then last night, my husband and I went to a local home improvement store to get some household items. While we were there we stopped and looked at storm doors. We had been discussing purchasing one for months but knew that we would have to special order what we wanted and the cost was too much for us at this time.

As we were looking and dreaming an employee asked what we were wanting and we said, “A black storm door with brass hardware and a screen/window insert.” He asked if the glass could have a beveled edge to it and we answered that it didn’t matter. He reached into a “secret” area and pulled out the very door we had just described! Another customer had ordered it in beige but it came to the store as black. Because it was considered an “open-return” the employee gave it to us at 75% off.

I about started jumping up and down in the store. My husband could not believe it. He now is asking me to lend him the book so that he can learn The Secret as well.

I can’t wait to see what happens next!
