Well, as I’m sure has happened to most people with The Secret, it came to me at a time when we most needed it. It was as if I was meant to find that DVD at that certain point in my life. Not unlike Rhonda, our family was in strife, my husband and I were not getting on at all, and financially we were in dire trouble. I was at the video store hiring some DVDs for my daughters, and for some reason The Secret caught my eye. I picked it up and put it down again, but for some reason I felt I couldn’t leave the store without it. I had never heard of it, nor had any idea what it was about. When I got home I forgot about it.

Several days past, and my husband and I had a severe argument, with him storming out of the house. I sat on the lounge in a cloud of depression, and willing someone to help me. I then realised that as long as we had our family nothing else mattered. In an instant – for a reason I cannot explain – I remembered “The Secret” DVD and put it on. For the next two hours or so I sat gobsmacked at the TV. I couldn’t believe this. A lot of the principles I knew from my psychology studies, but this was at a whole new level. It was stuff I thought about, but for once someone had captured the essence of everything and brought it all together. Finally it all made sense. I always thought there was something about the transference of energy between people and the universe, but finally I had a theory!

Well I showed this amazing movie to my husband, brother, and several friends. I wanted to share this with everyone.

This was 5 weeks ago. Within that time I have been practicing all the disciplines for the relationships, and I’m so pleased to say THIS STUFF WORKS! As for finances, I put out a wish to the universe for $10,000 unexpected income. By three weeks I had $10,300, and I’m still amazed. This consisted of a back payment of a family tax payment from 2 years ago for $3,300! And our truck we have been trying to sell for over six months – $7000 once the loan is repaid. I have now written out a two page blurb to the Universe of how my life will be.

Focus your energy, start a journal, get yourself a gratitude stone, start writing all the things you appreciate about your loved ones, and don’t give up!
