I’m a Mod and naturally I’m a big fan of Italian motor scooters. i.e. Vespas and Lambrettas. During the 12 years I’ve lived in Moscow I’ve never seen a real Italian Vespa or anything like one. So I decided to apply The Secret. I found a picture of a red Vespa and stuck it on the inside of my copy of The Secret. As I usually take my book everywhere with me, I often visualised seeing one on the streets of Moscow. I imagined what the colour would be and and even how it would sound. I did this for about 2 weeks then forgot about it.

A week later I was walking up the road from the Metro in downtown Moscow, and I heard the distinctive whir of a Vespa. I turned round and saw a tall thin man sitting astride a red Vespa just like the one I used to own in England. I was stunned; absolutely dumb-founded.

I’m now a firm believe in the Secret, and I’m also teaching my daughter about this too.
