At first I was apprehensive about sharing this story… I just didn’t think that anyone would believe me.

Last year I came across The Secret book by chance in a book store. I picked it up and read a couple of lines. I liked the book so I bought it. I read the book and saw the film, but I didn’t really put much effort into practicing the Secret in my life.

Fast forward to a few days ago. I got an email from The Secret website about the stories they are publishing now. The story I read was called, “My Miracle Heart”. During these days I had been going through some depression… my life just wasn’t what I wanted it to be. The story I read really got me enthusiastic about starting to practice the Secret in my life, and I already feel better.

The example that I want to give is pertaining to the weather. It has been raining pretty regularly here for several days, and I had had enough of it. Today by chance it was sunny, so I went out close to the beach to take some sun in and catch up on my reading. I sat down happy that the sun was out and I could feel it on my skin. As I was looking out at the ocean I glanced over to my right and saw very dark and menacing storm clouds coming right my way. Needless to say, I was very disappointed to think that the sunshine would soon be blotted out by more rain, and I really needed sunshine at that moment to help get me out of the depressing feelings I had been feeling for some time. I remembered the story I had read, and I decided to give this Secret a try. I thought, if self-healing from an incurable disease is possible, anything is.

So as the dark shadow of the clouds were coming over the ocean ever closer to me, I made a statement in my mind. The clouds where going to move north across the ocean and up the coast away from me. These clouds were very dark and anyone who saw them would have believed that hard rain was soon to come. I made the statement in my mind, and I started to envision them just moving away from me and disappearing over the mountains.

15 to 20 minutes later I saw the shadows that had once been close to me on the ocean start to get smaller! The shadows that had once covered a big part of the bay where now getting weaker, the clouds where getting farther away! I was so happy, but not surprised. In less than half an hour to 45 minutes, the dark clouds that were certain to ruin the beautiful sunshine that enveloped me were almost entirely gone to the north, as I had stated!

The Secret is more real than I had ever imagined. This is amazing. Faith can truly move mountains, or clouds in this case! Thank you so much for sharing the Secret with us.
