My story is about my little dachshund who recently lost the use of her back legs from a condition known as IVDD.

Sometimes you don’t realize you have received something straight away because it hasn’t come the way you expect it to. Through my doubts and negative feelings, I wasn’t seeing what was happening in my world. I just didn’t notice the signs.

I have only been practicing gratitude for a few months, having only just learned of The Secret. I had asked for £3,500 with my universal cheque. I was visualizing it coming in the post, and then i would buy my lovely new car.

My little Rosie got ill, a disc problem, and I began to visualize her being “healed.” Now that is the big word I didn’t pay attention to. Even though I was seeing her running around the garden again, I had asked for her to be “healed.” Now when she got worse and went off her back legs my belief went out of the window. Then I got my desires all mixed up and started to ask for my cheque to be for paying for her operation. Now you see that I had forgotten all about the healing I had been asking for.

At the vet i was told, and this is the spooky bit, that her operation would cost £3,500 exactly, the same amount I had been asking for. So now not only had I not received it, I got to pay it out! Well as I hadn’t received it yet, I didn’t have it, and my pet insurance wasn’t good enough to cover it. My sister offered to loan me the money, but how would I pay her back? What if my cheque never arrived? So I decided to take my Rosie home and carry on with the conventional treatment of just keeping her still and rested.

Only a few days on, not only had she not been through the trauma of a huge operation, she was regaining sensation in her back feet, and tonight she stood up. She has full bladder and bowel control, which is often lost with this condition. I suddenly realized that she IS being healed just as I had asked The Universe for, and just as I had visualized in the beginning. Now, if I had £3,500 I would have paid for the operation, and I would have spent money that I didn’t need to spend.

Now I know I must never stop believing. It is the key to everything. Now I am waiting for the post because my cheque is on its way from The Universe for me to buy my new car. Rosie is being healed and will walk and run round the garden again, just as I had asked. I will take her for a ride in my new car to a lovely park, where we can celebrate the Law of Attraction together.
