Angola, AfricaI'm a 28 year-old man, who works as a copywriter for an Ads agency. I'm empathetic, funny, and always polite.
It was in May of last year that I was seeking for purpose in life because I had been in the same job for 5 years and earning a very low salary. My girlfriend had cheated on me, I had many financial problems and I noticed that my passion for everything was fading. So when I watched The Secret film for the first time, I thought it was a hoax. I thought the people on it had perfect lives and were just trying to comfort others so I didn’t take it seriously. But after some days I remembered a childhood event similar to one in the video.
In 2000 there was this insane bicycle every kid wished to own so bad. I thought I could afford it by saving my allowance money in order to purchase it. I got very disappointed. I did not get even 10% of the amount I needed and then stores ran out of’em.
Somehow I continued to believe I would get one and dreamt of riding it happily as ever. To my surprise, two or three days afterwards, my father offered me the exact same bicycle with all the props and everything.
Then I decided to give The Secret a chance. I started making a list of things to achieve in a week’s time. I was amazed when things started happening with no effort. I kept on trying and even did the one about the 100.000 money goal in a year and the results were there. Now I’m in a new job, single but I am very good with that. My salary is now 5 times higher and I love every single thing I do in life thanks to The Secret. I do my best to make it known to everyone I know. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Kind regards,
