My family and I decided to spend a Saturday in NYC. This happened to be the day after we watched “The Secret” for the first time. We were on fire to test it out! On the drive from CT to NYC, my husband and I used positive reinforcement and thoughts to give us the best day ever. We, along with our kids, drove and planned to take the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, to eat at Katz’s Deli and wander Manhattan for fun.

It turned out to be a glorious day. All we imagined happened. We imagined that our drive was smooth and without traffic – it was. We imagined that we could find parking right across from the ferry terminal – we did, and we imagined that we had perfect parking at the deli – we did. No meter, either.

We imagined our kids were happy, blissful, and content with everything we did. It was a long day and they were young then. They loved every minute.

We use the power as often as possible now – with everything. Sometimes it’s hard when things get tough and we begin to doubt. That is the best time to be thankful for what we have already. And feel content in the love around us – knowing everything will be the way we want it.
