I am a student. The grading period was basically over and it seemed like there was nothing I could do to get my grade up in a certain class. The teacher was pretty strict and she does not ever give extra credit. But I could picture my perfect grade in my mind and even though I had no idea how I would get it, I felt the gratitude of having received it already.
I was in the teacher’s room at lunch on the last day of the marking period and at this point I had basically given up. I had actually just let go. I was starting to accept that I might not get my perfect grade and I was going to ask her to explain to my parents that I was working very hard in the class and that it was not really my fault. However, before I could say it, the teacher offered to let me fix something I had done very poorly on. She gave me until the end of the day. I did it and now I have exactly the grade I was hoping to get! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!
