About 6 years ago my husband and I started looking for our own house to buy. We looked at many houses but they all seem to need a lot of work or the location wasn’t ideal. Finally, we saw one house that we felt was just perfect for us. However, the deal fell through at the last moment. Needless to say we were both upset.

That day a friend of mine who didn’t know about any of this, sent me a picture that read, “When God gives a no, it’s not a rejection but a redirection”. Those words gave me so much positivity. I had used The Secret before when I was having a difficult time in my life and it had worked.

So I went home and I wrote down on a piece of paper, what my ideal home would be like; the number of bedrooms, no renovations required, etc. Then I folded the paper and put it in my bag. I didn’t even look at it or visualize or do anything.

A few months later my realtor called to say there was a house for rent, mind you not on sale, but did we want to look at it? We went to see it and as I was standing in the living room, I told my husband we were going to buy this house. The realtor smiled at me and said the owner has many properties but he doesn’t believe in selling them.

Somehow, everything worked out in our favor. We bought the house, renovated it the way we wanted to and moved in 6 months later. On the last day as I was cleaning my bag, I came across my list that I had forgotten about completely. Reading that list, I realized my house had every single thing on it!!
