Hi everyone. I knew I was going to write my own success story, but I was hoping it was more like I had finally found the man of my dreams. After all that is happening, especially with writing this story, I now realize I have nothing to doubt but my old beliefs. Since making the conscious decision to follow the teachings of the Secret, Feb 10, 2008, I have seen miracles happen in my life.

The first, I am noticing I don’t suffer from from my depression periods. I was diagnosed with mild depression five years ago. I refused the pills and had to always fight what I called my dark side. Now, I am happier and things that would trigger my episodes are no longer trigger them. I have more happy thoughts!

Second, when I started trying the Secret, I started off small and needed a box spring. I will be honest there were many times I was skeptical and even impatient. But I kept remembering the words from the Whitney Houston’s song, “When you Believe.” The funny part, it was a fluke I came across the song, and when I needed it the most. I kept repeating to myself, “You will when you believe,” so I thought what did I have to lose. One month later, a brand new box spring was given to me – FREE!

The next item that manifested into my life was a laptop. My graduate program is now requiring laptops in all classrooms during lecture, but being a single mom the cost of one is a bit too much. Especially a brand new one with the required software I needed. So I believed I would acquire a laptop. The universe did its magic, and I was introduced to someone who went out of their way to help me purchase a brand new HP laptop with 3 GB of memory with a brand new HP printer/copier/scanner. I only had to pay $500 for everything, and he wrote off the rest.

Finally, I am being given my dream job with a Fortune 500 company. All I had to do was believe and be happy, and that is all anyone has to do in order to enjoy the benefits the Universe/God wants to give you. I now truly understand those sermons the preachers use to tell us about being blessed. We are heirs to the kingdom, remember – “You WILL when you BELIEVE.” God bless everyone!
