I would just like to share my story of how I used the Secret for weight loss. And by the way, my mother was the person that shared The Secret DVD with me.

I have been overweight most of my life, and last year in 2007 while getting ready for work, I prayed to God and the universe to change my life. I was very unhappy at the time. I asked that God would make something happen, anything, to make me lose weight. I remember I said this while standing in the shower, just praying. Then – I don’t know how long after I had made this request – it happened! I got exactly what I wanted.

Lo and behold, I came down with a stomach problem. I was hospitalized three times in one weekend (at first the doctors did not know what was wrong with me). Due to this stomach problem I ate very little (I felt sick all the time), and I actually lost 20 lbs. in a week and a half. However, I got on meds and got the issue under control (but if you ask me this was God answering my prayer so it really wasn’t a health issue).

So, I decided that God had given me a wonderful gift and I needed to keep it going. I have lost between 50-60 lbs. since 7/2007 and have dropped 5 to 6 clothes sizes! The quality of my life has improved greatly. I am not only the person that I used to be before I gained so much weight, I am better than before! I’m not at my ideal weight yet, but I know that I will be if I continue to believe in God’s glory, practice the Secret, and work hard to stay on my exercise program and continue my lifestyle changes/diet. The Secret works! And it will work again. The next thing is to get my dream house, finish college, and meet my husband (yes, in that order)!
