I always tried to be positive and see the glass half full rather than half empty. As hard as I tried someone would always “bring me down to Earth” and remind me that life can’t be all that perfect.

On my last birthday I got “The Secret” book from my very good friend and to be honest I put it away without giving it another thought. About 3 weeks later, after all kids were in bed and I was working hard on sorting my business e-mails and hoping that one day I don’t have to work so hard, I saw the book. Something told me to leave everything and read it.

Two days later I finished it and made my first wish. I wanted to fit into a pair of my favorite pants that I could not wear for the last few years. To make the story short, I look a lot thinner now, wear my favorite pants and enjoy eating more than ever. My actual weight never changed. I am starting to model for fun at my friend’s fashion shows. (When I was 16-17, I had a secret desire to be a model but never thought that I was tall enough.)

Finding a parking spot works 100%; yesterday I got a document from a Notary within only 3 hours, and it usually takes at least 3-4 days. I had a super successful business presentation, was called for several radio interviews. The bottom line, anything I wish for regarding my business I get within a maximum of one week.

There are so many things already happening to me since I read the book and watched the movie that it is hard to describe them all but I will write just one more, which made me write this letter in the first place.

Today, as a part-organiser I had a very important seminar with a guest speaker coming from the USA, and he should have been presenting in front of at least 150 people. Due to the Icelandic volcano our speaker could not make it. All the flights were cancelled. And as much as I believed in The Secret I could not change a thing. I continued being super positive, which in turn affected everyone in our group and we successfully postponed the event and everyone was super positive.

What was really surprising is that people were coming to me to say thank you for my positive attitude. It was the most amazing experience. But it got even better! One of my friends, part of this group said that he wanted to feel the same way I did. And as natural as it could be I started teaching him the simple techniques of becoming happy. By the time I got home, I made a new wish. I wanted to teach other people about the amazing power of The Secret. I don’t know when or how but I know I will and very soon.

I promise to send another letter after my first “Secret” seminar. I already have several followers, including my husband, and it is an amazingly wonderful feeling when you can teach people to be happy. Thank you!
