Transforming my life
Submitted by: Krishanu
Mumbai, IndiaI'm a student of business administration and also play cricket (sports) for my state and national team.
Two years ago I was depressed and frustrated with my life. I play cricket as a fast bowler for my state team, and I was not really performing well. I also was not able to pass my 12th exams. My life was in complete misery and I didn’t know what to do in life.
One fine day one of my friends in USA, California, gave me the movie of The Secret, and I looked at him anxiously. “What is this all about?” He told me, “It’s a secret, you go and watch.”
I saw this movie and got really a tremendous tool to apply in my life to improve my professional and personal life. I started applying this Secret and my life completely transformed. Even if the situation was the worst, I started visualising it in a positive manner. Instead of concentrating on the bad effects that happened in the past I started looking for the best effects of my future. And it’s true whatever I feel it materialised into reality.
Whenever I used to sleep I would close my eyes and visualise and imagine my goals and target, and after I would feel that I have achieved all this and was very thankful for it. I used to visualise that I scored 89 percent in my 12th exams by putting a dummy scorecard on my room wall and applying required marks on it. I used to feel that I have achieved my target and used to feel as I was going to feel at that time when I achieve my target.
I practiced it for three months, and you know what? I got 91%. It’s true. And due to this score I got admission into the best college of business administration.
After this incident I started imagining even more beautiful imaginings…
I imagined for a cute girlfriend and I got her.
I imagined for a bike and I got it.
I achieved all that I really wanted in my life, and I started performing well in my cricketing career. I discovered that before performing I could visualise the last action of my performance… and I used to perform it in the same manner I imagined it.
“THOUGHTS BECOME THINGS.”
