I discovered the Secret on November 8, 2012. I was so amazed by what the movie taught me, I made my family watch it. Immediately, I started practicing what I had learned. Every morning and every night, I thanked the Universe for what I have: my family, my health, my house and car, my job, the money I earned, the abundance in my life. I asked the Universe for what I wanted. I wrote it down: a beautiful home, a successful business, travel around the world with my family, lots and lots of money.

On November 20th, I received a letter from the IRS that I owed them $35,000 in taxes and it was due on December 10th, 2012. Before The Secret, I would have been worried sick about how I was going to pay for this, but I decided to trust the Universe instead. I printed a check from this website and wrote $35,000 to myself with a date of 12/05/2012. I told the Universe “I want a check for $35,000 on 12/05.” I imagine myself going to the mailbox and opening it and getting the check. I imagine the feeling of what it would feel like to receive it. Every night, I would repeat to myself, “money comes to me easily and frequently. They are more money being printed for me right now. I will get $35,000 on 12/05.”

On December 5th, I went to my mailbox. There was only advertisements in there, no check. Before The Secret, I would have been really disappointed, but again, I chose to trust the Universe. So I just went on with thanking the Universe for everything I had.

On December 6th, my husband who had been on a business trip on the other side of the country for about a month, called me at work. After we chatted for a moment, he said, “Oh, by the way, yesterday my nephew gave me $30,000 as a good faith down payment to buy our business, dear!” I couldn’t believe it. I told my husband about asking for the $35,000. My husband said, “Oh, I have the remaining $5000 in my business savings account.” Of course, I thought, this was the quickest, fastest, most harmonious way for the Universe to give me what I wanted!

Today is December 7th and on Monday, December 10th, we will pay our taxes in full. Before The Secret, it would have been excruciating for me to hand that money out to IRS, but now I don’t care any more because I know they are more money coming my way.
