In July 2021 I was hit with the shocking news that my husband was leaving me after he had an affair. My life had seemed to spiral in a downward direction faster than I was able to pick myself up.

My son was upset, angry, and hurt. I was still trying to gather my emotions and I still had a business to run which is hard when you do not have the support of your husband.

I was frantic at first but I remembered what The Secret tells you to practice. So I wrote down on my gratitude list, “I am so happy and grateful to see my cat sitting in our shed without a care in the world!”

I could not believe my eyes when just 30 minutes after I had written it down, I looked in my garden to see my cat looking back at me exactly where I had imagined him to be. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
