Rapturous Joy!
Submitted by: Becks C.
Tasman Bay, New ZealandI'm a joyous lover of life!
Having come from a conservative, controlled religious childhood, it wasn’t until my mid-thirties that I made a change. I left my husband and that life behind and started the journey of awakening. Like many other people, I had to reprogram my consciousness from lack and limitation to abundance and expansion. My very first exposure to this was Rhonda Byrne’s movie, The Secret. I rented the DVD from my local video store and my consciousness since that day keeps expanding. Thank you, Rhonda!
What a delight to reminisce about a joyous event! I feel elation as I write, the sweet spot that the law of attraction masters recommend milking for as long as it feels good. And that’s just what I have done and that’s what this story is about, co-creation at its best.
Now I’m no guru or LOA master but I applied the principles of The Secret and I got the results. I visualized, affirmed, and believed an event would take place, giving no thought to how, when, who, or where. Instead, I just felt and imagined the end result as if it had already happened.
Back in 2015, I owned an old wooden villa that was in need of some TLC and I was also in need of a change. At the time I had limited tools and funds to restore the house but I had unlimited optimism and joy and that served me well.
Every day I set about restoring the interior and exterior of my old villa with the joy and the motivation of selling my house, not for any price but for my price. The price I knew, deep in my heart I would get for it.
Daily, without fail, I would put my headphones on and work in a state of joy and appreciation as I listened to uplifting audios about the magic of the law of attraction. As I scraped, sanded, and painted, I felt the money coming to me with ease and grace and there was never ever any doubt. I felt, imagined, and spoke it into being.
Months went by and my house looked amazing. All my positive energy and intention were infused within its walls. It was now time to put my house on the market. The real estate agents came through to do an appraisal. Despite the valuation coming in well below what I had visualized, I said I want $250,000 for my home, I know it is worth it and I know it will sell for that much.
My friend was a real estate agent who also believed in the law of attraction principles and said she had worked with other vendors who had similar beliefs and it made a difference in the selling process. She agreed to list my home for $250,000, “Let’s test the market” she said.
A few days later I got my first offer, more than the appraisal but still less than I wanted so I declined. I told my agent, “If someone’s prepared to buy my home for that much in just 2 days, then it is too cheap.”
Over the next 2 weeks, I was tested with more offers, and I declined each one. I held strong to my inner knowing.
Then Saturday came and the 2nd open home was held. The fire was on, ambient music played, candles burned softly and my cat lay sleeping peacefully as I walked through my home and out the front door. I set the intention that my home is filled with blessings and that buyers love and adore my home.
Later that day my friend, the agent, said the open house went well, the house felt amazing and there was lots of interest.
Monday evening she made time to visit to discuss a silent auction that unbeknownst to me, had taken place. The law of attraction had attracted 3 buyers, all wanting my house all at the same time, with the highest price of each buyer placed inside 3 separate envelopes. What are the chances!?!
OMG, co-creation at its very best.
Joyously reminiscing, I can still feel to this day sitting on my couch with so much joy and anticipation in my heart as I was handed 3 white envelopes. I remember the amazing feeling of opening them one by one, with each offer higher than the one before. I finally opened the last envelope and read “We would like to make an offer of $250,000.”
OMG, the joy I felt, the thankfulness, the elation, it was incredible, truly magical. It was the law of attraction at its finest.
I have other stories I must share and soon I do so.
Love and blessings
