My name is Kavita and I am from India. I met the man of my life in my workplace. He started liking me and fell deeply in love with me but I was unaware of his feelings as he never dropped the hint about it to me. But one day he decided to approach me, but just as a friend. We two started talking to each other normally, and from that time on I got to know him personally as an individual and I started respecting him for the person that he is.

Fast forward. One day we got into a discussion about love and marriage. His eyes got teary after listening to me talking about how my family is very strict, especially my mother . It turned out that he was wondering how he was going to be able to marry me after listening to everything that I had said. That was the day when I got to know that he loved me so much and that he wanted to marry me from day one. I do not know what drew me to him, but I asked him to give me some time to think about us and then we would see what to do in future.

Eventually with the passing of a few months, I started falling for him. I felt for him equally as he felt for me and we decided to get married. So then we disclosed this to our families. His parents happily agreed to our marriage but just as my thought pattern had been, it played itself out and my mother denied our marriage over the caste issues and some other things.

We got depressed and really worried. So of course, many such emotions started playing in our minds. Many people around us suggested to us that we should go ahead and get married anyway but I always wanted the  blessings of all of our parents so I dropped the idea. Next I started focusing on manifesting my beautiful marriage with him with everyone’s blessings.

I started giving love and positive energy to my parents and to him as well. I affirmed with full faith that whatever may happen along the way, in the end, we are going to marry each other no matter what. I was also focusing on self love and improving my self worth.

Then boom!! The Universe started doing its magic, and things started to change in our favor. In only a month, my parents came to me on their own and my mother placed her hand on my head and said, “Your happiness matters the most to us and if you are happy, then we are also happy.” I hugged my mother and father and thanked them with so much love and gratitude.

Then one month later we got engaged to each other and got married in the following month. All the things in our marriage took place so beautifully as if everything had been taken care of by the Universe. And to my surprise, the happiest 2 people at our wedding were my parents. They were smiling like as if they were thinking that these 2 are really made for each other.
