Money Came Even Before I Realized How Much I Needed It!

LondonLiving my life one magical day at a time.
These stories are so inspiring to me whenever I am feeling low and so I have made a decision to post here no matter how small my story is, in the hopes of inspiring someone else.
Last year was not a great financial year for me and I was determined to start the new year repairing my relationship with money. My partner and I moved in together but I was stressing out a lot because even though the Universe had brought us the perfect home, I had prayed that by some miracle the deposit would be waived. However, it wasn’t and we needed to pay at least £4,000 just to move in! I prayed and prayed but that deposit was going nowhere and although I was finding coins on the floor and getting loads of discounts, there was nothing of a big enough size to pay the deposit. I called up my partner on the phone, worried about my ability to contribute and he calmly and lovingly said, “Don’t worry honey, I’ll pay the deposit you, just pay what you can then we can move into our home.”. I almost burst out crying on the phone in relief and gave gratitude for this beautiful and generous man I am with.
Three weeks later I received a random tax rebate of £1,200 that had been owed to me for the past 2 years . ‘Oh well, better late than never’ I breathed to myself as I got down on my knees, praising and thanking the Universe for this gift. I had been so focused on money for the deposit that I had forgotten that it takes money to set up a home. And boy did this money really come in handy when we were buying towels, kitchen dining sets, furniture, etc. I was even able to pay my bank for the credit card services I had been receiving over the past few years and so improve my credit rating.
I feel so blessed by these lessons from this experience:
1. The importance of wording your request. My prayer for our home included a request for a deposit-free contract, it was free for me but not for my partner and I should have been more specific about that.
2. The power of letting go. As soon as I let go of the need for the money for the deposit, in came my cheque!
3. Gratitude. No matter what circumstances you are in, always find a silver lining because things could be worse. The fact that we can share these stories across the globe is a miracle in itself!
I wish you all abundance in all areas of your lives!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
