My name is Hilda and I have read The Secret, The Power and The Magic within the last 15 months, along with the stories on this website. This story is about manifesting a dear friend, Herlinda, who I met in High School.

On August 1, 2012, I told a co-worker that I know that the LOA works and that I am going to prove it. I wanted to manifest someone in my life that I have not seen in a long time. I thought about this and later on in the day, I told my co-worker, “I have someone in mind, my friend Herlinda.”

I told my co-worker the story about how we met our freshman year in high school. Herlinda was a sweet and dear friend. She went off and got married while still in high school, had children and then moved to Houston, Texas a few years later. I have not seen her or heard her voice in over 22 years. I told my co-worker, “Someone will tell me about her, I will see her father (her father lives in my hometown and I live 2 hours away and see him every few years), or her ex-sister in law or she’ll contact me.”

After time passed, I had forgotten all about our conversation.

On September 3, 2012, while checking my emails, I see a friend’s request notification via Facebook. I hardly go into my Facebook account or get friend requests. The requestor’s name was Linda from Houston, which was weird because I didn’t think I knew a Linda from Houston. I looked at her picture and realized it was my friend Herlinda. She had dropped the “HER” in her name.

We exchanged phone numbers and talked for over an hour. I told her how I had “manifested” her into my life. She’s been going through “trials and tribulations” and I shared with her what I’ve read about LOA. Actually, I share it with everyone I meet.

The Law of Attraction really works, just try it out! Manifest something; a cup of coffee, perfect health, a soul mate, money, or anything your heart desires.

I always start my day with a smile no matter what. I write in my Secret Gratitude Book every morning. I have my vision board posted by my bed and use many other helpful hints used in The Secret, The Power and The Magic.
