I’ve been meaning to write a story on here forever, as I’ve been practicing The Secret since 2008 and it’s brought so many wonderful people, things, and experiences into my life. One of the best however, happened just this past December and I wanted to share it because it’s proof that this WORKS!

Since age 11, I’ve been a huge fan of Hanson (I’m 25 now…I know, don’t laugh!). I’d seen them about 5 times in concert, but never met them and the older I got, it kind of seemed like it would never happen. But once I discovered The Secret, I knew that it could and WOULD happen someday! I added a photo of them and a picture of myself next to them on my vision board.

Fast forward to this past fall… I hear that they’re touring and coming to Tampa (2 hours from me) and Orlando, but at Epcot so I’d have to pay to get into the park (expensive). As much as I wanted to see them live again, I was happy with the past concerts I’d been to and kind of forgot about it. The days of those concerts came and went, but I still wasn’t too fazed about not going.

Literally, less than a week later, they announce that they’re performing at a completely random festival about a half hour north of Orlando which costs $10 to attend! I just knew that the universe was working things out perfectly and that I was meant to go to this. I bought a ticket, fully planning on going by myself. The day before the festival, my friend (who I’d told about concert previously) sends me a text that says she wants to go with me. Perfect! We got there with plenty of time for the concert, which was fantastic and we had so much fun.

Afterwards, we stuck around in case they were signing autographs or anything. They were! They were spread out, but we were closest to Taylor (both our favorite) so we slowly made our way through the crowd. My friend kept saying “this is so happening, I can feel it!” and sure enough, we were face to face with Taylor and we asked for a picture. It came out great! Sure, I didn’t meet all of them, but I was so amazed at how everything came together perfectly to help me meet someone I’d admired for so long.

Funny enough, when I got home and looked at the picture I’d put on my vision board, I was next to Taylor, on the same side as the photo we actually took! Pretty amazing, huh? 🙂 Moral of the story: “letting go” is difficult, but once you do it, it’s crazy how fast the universe can respond to your request!
