I am very new to The Secret, but already I have felt positive changes around me and I am so very thankful for that!

I first read The Secret a few weeks ago. I was on jury duty for three days so I had a lot of time to absorb and meditate on what The Secret offered – and it completely moved me. I realized how my negativity in the past did result in too many bad things happening to me. I had never been a very positive person, but so much of what The Secret said made sense to me. I have completely changed my outlook in the morning to be thankful for what I have, and I look forward to each day knowing that something great will occur during that time.

Eventually I decided to manifest something. It seemed so simple to do that I wasn’t sure I could do it, but I remained positive and decided to attract a shiny penny to me – but I’d know it was my penny because it would manifest to me somewhere where I’d never expect to see one.

For four days nothing happened, and I wasn’t sure whether my “asking” was heard. That is, until yesterday! I was coming off the escalator at my job at the end of my day, and at the bottom was a shiny penny, perched barely above step before it falls below the floor. I got off and looked at it and just started laughing! Other people coming down the elevator probably thought I was nuts seeing me laugh at a penny. They didn’t know how special that penny was!

Around the same time I asked for the penny, I also asked for $100, just to see if I could manifest something of a bit more substance. Again, for a few days, nothing. And I was beginning to wonder. One afternoon a day later my wife and I were doing our power walk around the neighborhood and we found a small bag on the sidewalk that appeared to have been dropped or misplaced by somebody. In the bag was a camera, a pair of prescription glasses and a couple of other personal belongings – and the name and phone number of the owner. We left a voice message with the owner.

The next day the owner came by to pick up the bag. I was away from the house but my wife met the owner outside and he handed over a wad of bills to my wife as a reward. She refused the money, but told me when I returned that it was at least a few $20 bills. WOW! I wasn’t upset at all – I’m glad we could help somebody out but the fact that it was there just blew me away.

I read these stories each day as inspiration. I have asked the Universe for something much bigger now for myself and my family. The Secret works!! Do not underestimate what you can do – everybody should have the opportunity to experience the sheer joy I had when I received what I wished for – it doesn’t matter how small you think it is.
