I had always been the girl who nobody really took much notice to. I was quiet, insecure, and didn’t have much interest in putting myself out there. As a result, it kept me from having everything I wanted – and now have – in my life. Last year I was introduced to The Secret through a friend and as soon as I had learned about it, I went straight to work on making my life as harmonious as possible.

I’ll admit, I, like many others I’m sure, was skeptical about The Secret at first. But as I began to think about the way I wanted my life to be, I began to realize why my life was the way it was in the first place. I had attracted it! My constant complaining of not being pretty enough, not getting enough attention, not being noticed, that’s what made my life as miserable as it was. I instantly changed my way of thinking. I began to make vision boards with pictures that represented my dream life and usually they would be the background on my computer so that I could see it everyday. Each time I saw it, I would visualize the perfect life, my life.

The first major incident of when I noticed that The Secret was working was last summer. I had never had a serious boyfriend and had always complained about never having a boy in my life. This time however, I completely changed my way of thinking and ended up convincing myself that I indeed was in a relationship with someone, even though I hadn’t been talking to any guys prior. What happened within the next two weeks was absolutely a dream. I met the perfect guy and we ended up spending the whole summer together, making it one of the best summers of my entire life. And I can honestly say that it was because of the law of attraction that I was able to manifest my dream into a reality.

Another incident of how The Secret has made itself present in my life is my hair colour. I was born with naturally dark brown hair and I never liked it. When I was younger, I used to visualize my older self as tall and pretty with long blonde hair. I longed to have blonde hair more than anything else, but never thought it was possible because dying it would cause too much damage to my dark hair. Well, oddly enough, as I am writing this I indeed have the long blonde hair that I had dreamed of for years! I look exactly as I had pictured myself when I was younger, and I truly believe that even as a child I used the law of attraction to manifest something that I wanted in life.

I continue to use The Secret in every aspect of my life and believe in its power. The Universe is my genie. Whatever I ask for, I will receive. There’s no wondering how it will happen, I just know that once I ask, I will receive it. The more I believe that I already have it, the faster it will manifest, and the closer I get to the perfect life I’ve always dreamed of.

If I can do it, then anybody can!
