Little Story Of Huge Changes

DeutschlandHappy mom and Russian vet, who made it to Germany!
Well, where to start…
I will do my best, to make it short.
I had just finished my studying in Saint Petersburg and graduated as a Veterinarian.
I even found a job and a place to live. But the job was really poorly paid and I lived with 4 other people in a 3 room apartment which I could afford only with the help of my wonderful parents.
In Russia it’s hard to live on your own after graduating from a Vet academy. People can’t always afford medical treatment for themselves, never mind for their pets.
But it was my dream to treat animals. Short after graduating, a friend of mine gave me The Secret book, and it immediately clicked.
I knew, the situation for Vets was much better in Europe, so in order to really be able help someone and not just perform castration and euthanasia, I needed to get there.
So I started a vision board. I wrote down how happy I am to live in Europe, to work with wonderful people, to be helpful at last.
A month later I went to a surgery conference, where I accidentally met with a German Professor who was giving a masterclass. We spoke on a coffee break and I got invited for to do a paid Internship for a year.
Three months later I was there.
In three more months I had met my future husband.
In one year after much grateful wishing we had a wedding and I got pregnant.
Now I have a wonderful 8 month old daughter and I am in the middle of my examination to become a certificated Veterinarian in Germany!
I am so grateful, it is unmeasurable!
Thank you!
