First, let me start by thanking Rhonda and The Secret team for getting the message out about the laws of attraction and The Secret. Another thank you to the amazing stories posted here every day. As part of my everyday morning routine, I read the inspiring accounts and walk away with great joy, what a way to start the day!

My story is simple but uplifting for me. I started to apply The Secret after my husband left. I was devastated as I did not see this coming. I rediscovered The Secret and realized I had manifested this event in my life. I did not have enough faith and love in the marriage because of my depression.

I reread The Secret, did the wonderful exercises from The Magic, and listened to The Power on my way to and from work. I started to feel better but alas, my husband was nowhere in sight of a reconciliation.

I hit a block and then I started to resort to my negative thinking and sad feelings again. Then one day, I awoke and said to myself, I don’t want to live this way. I need to let this go to the Universe and not come from a place of lack but instead a place of abundance. I have so many blessings now. So I started to say thank you for all of my blessings. It was then I decided to ask the Universe for a sign. A sign that I was on the right path with my husband.

I asked to see a dragonfly. Mind you, I live in a big urban area where I seldom see dragonflies. So, my thought was I would probably see one online or on TV. I expected it to happen immediately. Of course, it did not. After a couple of days, I let it go and I went about my day practicing gratitude.

It was then that it happened. My sister and I had just arrived to attend an outside event. As we were unloading the car, I looked over to a patch of lawn, and there it was, my sign. Not one but several dragonflies, real dragonflies! There they were, flying about, almost playing and teasing me in the air. I was so astounded I asked my sister what she thought they were just for confirmation, and she said, dragonflies, of course. I looked up at the sky and said thank you, thank you, thank you. Not only did the Universe provide but it provided more than one and they were real! Which was more than I expected.

So, I now know that my heart’s desire will come to fruition. Till then I will continue to try and live a joyful life filled with gratitude and appreciation.

But most importantly, I learned the important lesson of letting it go. Let it go because the Universe has got this. Do not focus on the how and the when. As Michael Bernard Beckwith says, “You can start with nothing, and out of nothing and out of no way, a way will be made.” A way will be made for me and for you, too!

I hope to return here in the future with my heart’s desired success story but until then, if this story inspires one soul, then I will be happy as so many of these stories posted here have encouraged me.
