Learning to be around tough PETs

GermanyI am in the process of being at my very best.
All my life I have been running away from people who make me feel uncomfortable (angry, irritated, negative). Recently I had the most unpleasant experience of having a person who tried taking advantage of me and not respecting my personal boundaries join amongst a group of close friends. Since I had to deal with her during our occasional meetings I had to learn to deal with this situation. I did a lot of things, forgiving, thinking happy thoughts, ignoring, masking my emotions, nothing worked. So I went back to my old habit of running away (doing my best to avoid being at the same place with her).
Unfortunately I begun feeling deeply irritated with myself for not being able to handle the situation better, and I missed the company of my close friends. Then I started obsessing about the problem. Finally I stared feeling so angry that I decided there and then that I have to face the situation and learn from it and move on. It took me a few days but the advice from my loved one that I need to shift my focus to better, more important things in life got me started. Then I had the feeling that I have to read The Power again, and maybe the answer is there.
Lo and behold, the answer was indeed there. I need to bring myself to the highest possible frequency to attract the best people and situations in my life. When we are at our highest frequency, we will not be affected by negative people or situations.
That was indeed what I did and the toughest challenge was that our group of friends were going for a trip and at first I didn’t want to join them. But by bringing myself to the highest frequency I decided I will be with the people I care, and only look for the best of the situation. And then the most amazing thing happened, at the very last minute the person I wasn’t comfortable with decided not to go, and she also mentioned that she’s leaving to a new country in a week’s time. This was totally unexpected and was really a miracle.
I am deeply grateful for having read The Power that has given me the strength to be the best person I could be, to learn to face tough PETs and tough situations. Most of all, The Power is now helping me to become a better person each day.
